Cookie Policy
This policy describes how Faura uses cookies and similar technologies on faura.io, in line with the ePrivacy Directive as implemented in EU member states.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags.
2. Cookies we use
We group cookies as follows:
- Strictly necessary — required for security, load balancing, and remembering cookie preferences. These do not require consent under applicable EU guidance.
- Functional — remember language or interface choices where enabled.
- Analytics — help us understand traffic and feature usage in aggregate.
- Marketing — only if we run advertising or remarketing campaigns; currently disabled by default.
3. Examples
faura_cookie_consent — stores your cookie preference selection (local storage, 12 months, strictly necessary/functional).
Session identifiers — maintain secure sessions for logged-in users (session, strictly necessary).
Analytics identifiers — only set if you opt in through Cookie Settings (see policy for retention when enabled).
4. Consent banner
On your first visit to faura.io, a cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or open Cookie Settings. Your choice is stored in local storage under faura_cookie_consent.
5. How to control cookies
Use our Cookie Settings page to accept or reject non-essential categories.
You can also adjust browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may affect site functionality.
